Pilgrimage

Spiritual Directors International offers a pilgrimage on Monday following the conference. Take advantage of St. Paul's rich history and make a pilgrimage to cultivate compassion, inner-freedom, and interdependence.

Twin Cities Interfaith Pilgrimage
Monday, April 15, 2013
8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Join us for a day of pilgrimage to experience the rich diversity of faith traditions in the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Special attention will be focused on nurturing compassion for the self, as we experience the compassion of others along the way. Our time will include visits to a Hindu temple, Buddhist center, and Muslim mosque. Spacious time is planned along the way to integrate the experiences, contemplate compassion, and partake of a midday meal at one of the sites. The pilgrimage will be led by Rabbi Amy Eilberg.

Rabbi Amy Eilberg
is the first woman ordained as a Conservative rabbi by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. She has worked in pastoral care, hospice, and more recently, in interfaith and inter-group work. A founding co-director of the Morei Derekh Training Program for Jewish Spiritual Direction, she had the honor of serving as the conference spiritual director for the SDI conference in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, in 2012.

Cost: USD$150 includes midday meal, all entry fees, and transportation
