Spiritual Directors International chooses convenient and affordable locations for educational events to encourage international travelers and local participants. We seek beautiful venues where you can learn and be renewed while cultivating contemplative awareness.

Cultivating Compassion Educational Events will be held at the CoCo Key Hotel (soon to be named DoubleTree by Hilton)

The hotel is located nineteen miles from Boston Logan airport on the “Boston North Shore.”

More about the hotel where the Conference will be held: CoCo Key Hotel (soon to be named DoubleTree by Hilton) is conveniently located just five miles from historic Salem, nineteen miles north of downtown Boston, and a picturesque drive from many popular attractions in New England. Hotel amenities include an onsite restaurant and bar, a sports club (with a sauna, steam room, and an indoor pool), and a full service spa and hair salon. Also onsite is the CoCo Key Water Resort, an indoor water park.

Spiritual Directors International is a ministry of spiritual care, and it is important that the venues we work with support fair and just practices in their relationships with employees, contractors, and clients. We look for venues that demonstrate a concerted green effort that includes water conservation, green cleaning products, waste management, and support of local vendors for food and supplies. Spiritual Directors International is delighted to be hosting the conference in the CoCo Key Hotel.

Conference participants staying offsite will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the conference.

From Logan Airport

Take Route 1A North to Route 60 West to Route 1 North to Route 95 North. Take Exit 50, Topsfield exit. Bear left to Route 1 South, Danvers. Take first right onto Ferncroft Road.

From Salem, Massachusetts

Take Route 114 West to Route 1 North. On Route 1 North, stay right past the exit for Route 95 North, and take your next exit on left for Route 1 South. Take first right onto Ferncroft Road.

From The North

Take Route 95 South to Exit 50. Follow signs to Ferncroft Road (first right).

From The West

Take Mass Pike to Route 128 North to Route 95 North. Take Exit 50, Topsfield exit. Bear left at Route 1 South, Danvers. Take first right onto Ferncroft Road.

From The South

Take Route 93 North to Boston. Take Route 128 North to Route 95 North. Take exit 50, Topsfield exit. Bear left at Route 1 South, Danvers. Take first right onto Ferncroft Road.

Directions to the Hotel from Logan Airport by Airport Transportation

Logan Express
This is the most cost effective option ($20.00 per person round trip).  The Logan Express will pick you up at the Logan Airport and bring you to the Satellite parking in Peabody (5 minutes from the hotel) where a hotel shuttle will pick you up and bring you to the hotel. Directions to the Hotel from downtown Boston by Rail

The MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) Commuter Rail depot in downtown Boston is called the North Station and located at 135 Causeway Street, Boston, close to Faneuil Hall and Government Center. Take the Newburyport/Rockport Line to the Beverly Stop.

The Beverly Stop is about 15 minutes from the hotel, and the hotel shuttle is able to pick up guests and bring them to the hotel. Call the Front Desk at 1-978-777-2500 to arrange.

The MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) Commuter Rail depot closest to the CoCo Key Hotel (soon to be named DoubleTree by Hilton) is the Beverly Stop on the Newburyport/Rockport Line.

The Beverly Stop is about a fifteen minutes’ drive from the hotel, and the hotel shuttle is able to take guests to the Beverly Stop (based on availability), or it is a short taxi ride. Driving directions to Beverly Depot are listed below.
